The New England Conference of Music Theorists welcomes membership from all of New England and beyond. Founded in 1986 at an inaugural meeting at Brown University, we meet each spring with the aim of providing a forum for the exchange of information and ideas through the presentation of papers, panel discussions, student workshops, and the like. As we approach our 30th meeting in 2015, we reflect on our rich history and look ahead to a bright future.
February 28, 2015: The program and local arrangements for NECMT's upcoming conference at Boston University have been released. For more information, please see the sidebar at right.
